Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 9, 2026

This notice explains how BeyondTopic handles information when you read this publication or subscribe to its newsletter. It is a plain-language starting policy for this site; the publisher should review it for the laws and services that apply before a public launch.

Information we handle

If you subscribe, the site stores your email address, subscription status, and the time you gave consent. Unsubscribe requests are recorded so that your preference can be respected. The local preview currently records subscriptions but does not send newsletter email.

Publisher accounts use a username and a securely hashed password. Editors may also add articles, page content, and images to the publication. The site may record basic technical and security events needed to run and protect the service, and records when a reader follows an affiliate link.

How information is used

Information is used to operate and secure the publication, manage newsletter preferences, maintain the editorial site, and understand limited interactions such as affiliate-link clicks. This version does not have a visitor analytics provider or advertising-tracking service configured.

Cookies and external services

The site uses essential cookies for form security and publisher sign-in. No optional advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are configured in this local version. Story images may be served by Unsplash, and links may take you to third-party sites; those services have their own privacy practices.

Storage, access, and your choices

Information is stored in the publication’s local database and is available to authorized publishers who operate the site. The publisher should keep access limited, protect backups, and remove information when it is no longer needed, subject to applicable record-keeping requirements. You can use the unsubscribe link in a newsletter message when email delivery is enabled. For questions or requests about personal information, contact the publisher using the email shown in the site footer. The publisher should add a monitored email under Admin → Settings before launch.

Children and changes

This publication is intended for a general audience and is not designed to collect information from children. The publisher may update this notice when site features or practices change; the current version will appear on this page.
